I love Food!
Episode I: Asian food
Asian food is probably my favorite cuisine, though it's hard to say that, since I love all good food :) One of my goals is to learn to cook all my favorite dishes. I love Thai, Indian, Korean and Japanese cuisines, in that order. So far I have lots of cookbooks with lots of amazing pictures, but that's as far as I've gotten. I love to cook, but not as a solitary activity, I like to do it as a group activity, with friends or family. The first thing I'd like to learn is Bibimpop, my beloved Korean dish, pictured here. Featured below are some more of my favorite asian dishes. In order of appearance, they are: , spring rolls, pad thai, curry dish, miso soup, Tom yum gong (a wonderful Thai soup), and sushi (I love it when I'm in the mood for it). Then a a lovely boiled egg creation: a baby chick! Last but not least is Mango sticky rice dessert (must try this)

You are making me very hungry. I don't know too much about Korean and Japanese cuisine. I've had one or two dishes.
With Korean, you have to get the Bibimpop--I don't know too many other korean things either, except the meat dishes. I treally hope that you are a Pescatarian, rather than a vegetarian, because fish SO healthy, and yummy!
That boiled egg chick is adorable! I love food too but I've never been able to really choose a favorite. If I had to choose I guess I'd choose eggs.
My mouth is totally watering. I'd love to cook with you sometime. I've never tried sushi. Whenever I've really wanted to try it I've been pregnant. Is there a good sushi place around?
Some of that looks good but I have to say the sushi looks a bit frightening. You need to make that mango sticky stuff for me...I want :)
YAY EMILY! One of my dearest friends just moved to Korea and is sending me all of the wonderful recipes that she's learning from her sisers-in-law. Also, I have a perfect (aka easy) recipe for sticky rice and mangos.
